Cutting edge at the Expo with Jongia/Facchinetti/Brunner-Anliker on Stand 38

At the Jongia/Facchinetti/Brunner-Anliker on Stand 38 at the Dairy Industries Expo, real life tests can be executed with cheeses attendees can bring along. Facchinetti is the manufacturer of Fixed Weight Cutting Equipment. A LPR02 and TMF01 will be on the stand before delivery to the customer. The LPR02 is a unit which includes a corer, scales and the cutting unit. The TMF01 is a unit that slices a large cheese in slabs, such as halving a large Gouda or multiple slabs of a large top hat model Cheddar.

These slabs can then be cored, i.e. a round piece of cheese is removed from the middle. This is then weighed on the scales. The weight is transmitted to the cutter. This cutter has been set up to cut a certain weight for the wedge and then will start cutting those. This equipment is now very popular worldwide and many are in use in the UK.

The rare opportunity to bring your cheese to the show and have it cut is a chance not to be missed. Many cheese makers and definitely not only big companies, have realised that this equipment makes them money. As one customer said: “It is a no brainer.”

The other machine is the IR250-D cheese grater from Brunner-Anliker. A Swiss company that prides itself of the high quality of its equipment. Graters can be custom made for your cheese and the size you want to grate it.

On Stand 38, you can cut your cheese and have it grated as well. If you want to make an appointment for a session, please email [email protected]
