Tetra Pak at Dairy Industries Expo

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Ajay Shukla, the sustainability & energy manager for Tetra Pak, will be speaking at the upcoming Dairy Industries Expo on the topic of “Sustainability in Dairy Processing.” Ajay has more than 12 years of experience in the industry ranging from chemicals, petrochemicals, fine chemicals, biopharma applications, food & beverage and FMCG businesses globally.

Currently, he provides sustainability and energy management focusing on supporting customers across applications for decarbonisation (mainly dairy & cheese, helping with existing and new technologies adoption with customised tailor-made solutions to existing brownfield sites and greenfield projects to electrify and support the long-term strategy to ensure “license to operate” for future. He also deals with risk management and identification of gaps in terms of effective integration of utilities with process/production operations. Further, he is involved in overseeing the impact of legislation and policy changes for the industry, including bridging the gap to finance sustainability initiatives with subvention grants, schemes, tax rebates, carbon pricing impact and internal finance models.

Past experience includes new product launches in the UK for Arla Foods & Ingredients, engineering project management for lactoferrin and other high value protein projects.
